Data security and privacy
Will my clinic's data get mixed up with other clinics?
No. Every clinic is fully isolated from every other clinic - not in the database, not in the API, not in any background process, two clinics' data are never combined.
Who has access to a patient's file?
Access to each file is controlled purely by the user's role (doctor, clinic receptionist, or the patient themself) - no user can reach data outside their own authorized access.
Is patient consent obtained before AI processes their data?
Yes. Before any AI processing of a patient's data - including international providers - the patient's explicit consent is recorded.
AI's role and the doctor's diagnosis
Does AI diagnose instead of the doctor?
No, never. AI is only an assistant - its output is never recorded as the final diagnosis. Diagnosis and treatment decisions always belong to the doctor.
What exactly is AI's role?
Helping with repetitive work like the pre-visit interview, summarizing records, and initial suggestions - all as input for the doctor, never a replacement for their clinical judgment.
Setting up your clinic's own bot
How does setting up my clinic's own bot work?
After free sign-up, you receive a unique linking code. Your clinic's own bot - with your own name and photo - is set up, and you connect your account by sending that same code to it.
Will my patients see the MedPortal bot, or my own?
The bot is entirely under your clinic or your own name and image - the patient never sees the MedPortal name anywhere.
Are both Telegram and Bale supported?
Yes, both messengers are supported.
